is a metallic glossy, silver wax/resin grade for near-edge label printers and direct print systems. It is very flexible on a wide range of materials, from vellum papers to packaging films. It is very sensitive and can be used over a wide temperature range, with print speeds up to 200 mm/s. On smooth materials it delivers excellent resolution of even the smallest fonts and fine lines. On dark substrates and transparent films, the print looks very bright and is an alternative to white ribbons.

Printing with N 415 Si is smudge-proof and has limited resistance to erasing. Resistance to chemical stripping is low for a wax/resin grade.

The classic applications for this vacuum-metallised quality are high-quality labels in the food industry, especially for wine and spirits, perfume, cosmetics, jewellery. [Furthermore, smooth and coated textile materials (gift ribbons, mourning bows etc.) can be printed in shiny silver.
